Luna will Reveal Conquest Secrets l 31 December 2007
First he celebrated his birthday among friends and later Diego Luna will confess on television how he was Conquistando Hollywood  (Conquering Hollywood). The actor will appear today (31 December 2007) on channel 11 [in Mexico City] on the program Conquistando Hollywood, led by Ana Cruz where he will reveal the way he got around to win himself a place in the Meca of Cinema.   It is a question of a series of retrospective in which Diego talks about his beginnings in acting, of the work he’s done and of his concern coming to Hollywood to achieve internationalization. He will also talk about the impact his career has had both in Mexico and the rest of the world.   The broadcast with Luna will be repeated on January 6. Although 11 is a local television channel in Mexico City, Conquistando Hollywood will be able to be seen in the whole country across  cable.   The program will present unpublished statemens and images of Luna, who since he was offered the project has shown interest in taking part and cooperating with the production team.   During the second anniversary celebration of Canana Films, the production company founded together with Gael García and Pablo Cruz, the actor invited a small group of his friends to assemble on Saturday for his 28th birthday.   “It was something like a 'petit committee', because the big celebration was actually during the Canana party, but he wanted to make something more intimate with his friends and he planned it for today (Saturday) which is the exact day of his birthday,”  indicated a source close to Luna.   His guests were his partners in the movie Sin Nombre (Without a Name), the debut work of American – Japanese filmmaker Cary Fukunaga, that his company produces.
