Deficit WebsiteCarlos Loret de Mola chatted on the telephone with actor Diego Luna in regards to the movie Déficit which debuts today. The film was produced by the actor who commented that “the hardest critique was the one that they did before releasing it.”

Diego said that he has perceived that the public in general enjoys the film very much and “that’s what matters most. The reception has been very good, especially among young people, I have come across good critiques and comments,” he pointed out.

He mentioned that Déficit  is a relatively cheap movie as for costs since they obtained a lot of support from their associates and friends. “It is a bit invaluable because, for example, we did not pay Gael García,” he added.

The actor thinks that it is a relaxed, entertaining movie and that it attempts to upset with the most basic thing that is the love between friends.

With regard to the participation of actor Gael García as director, he mentioned that it is not dificult to make a critique towards him since “we’ve always been very critical between each other, which has also forged our friendship.”

*Gael García not only directs this movie, he also acts in it along with Diego's wife, Camila Sodi.
