They ‘Present’ Diego in the Zócalo l 7 November 2007

Tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday Oxfam Internacional will take charge distributing Diego Luna in the Zócalo (the central, large plaza in Mexico City).

At least, it will do that with the cards in which it is possible to see the image of the actor in a shower of beans, who accepted to take part in the Trade with Justice campaign, created by the organization.

During these three days, the people that want to join the fight to protect the rights of the small producers, those affected by the North American free-trade agreement, will be able to do so by signing one of the cards, and this way they will help to reach the goal of a million signatures.

Although for the time being only 400 thousand have joined, Susana Cruickshank, in charge of campaigns for Oxfam International of Mexico, trusts that the image of the actor helps to improve the strategy, since the first thing that excited him was the power to give a hand to the farmers of the country.
