Diego will go to the Havana Film Festival l 26 November 2007
Mexican film director Diego Luna announced his participation in the 29th International Festival of the New Latin American Cinema, to be held in Havana December 4-14, 2007, with 130 films on exhibit.
The talented creator and actor made the announcement in an interview with Mexican television in London, where he is currently participating at the festival of the British capital, with the presentation of his documentary on the life of ex- professional boxer JC Chavez.
The protagonist of feature films like Y tu mamá también and Nicotina said this introspective glance into the life of Chavez represents a tribute to great idols of Mexican sports history and to that great boxer in particular.

El cineasta mexicano Diego Luna anunció hoy lunes su próxima participación en el 29 Festival Internacional del Nuevo Cine Latinoamericano, a celebrarse en La Habana del 4 al 14 de diciembre, con la concurrencia de 130 filmes.
Luna hizo el anuncio a la televisión mexicana en una entrevista realizada en Londres, donde participa actualmente en el festival de la capital británica con la presentación de su documental sobre la vida del ex boxeador profesional JC Chávez.
El protagonista de largometrajes como Y tu mamá también y Nicotina dijo que esta mirada introspectiva a la vida de Chávez representa un homenaje a los grandes ídolos del deporte mexicano y a ese gran pugilista en especial.
