México City. Mario Moreno Ivanova assured that he does not have any sentence in his disadvantage and that the work projects continue, one of them is to realize a movie in which Diego Luna might give life to Cantinflas.
“We are working on two concrete ideas. One of them is a kind of documentary and the other is a movie to take much of the life of my father Mario Moreno to the screen, like his famous personality, the idea is that Diego Luna does this work.
There is still no date, nor even an attempt. Tthere is no definite storyline. We are reconciling everything because it will be a very difficult movie. Whoever dares will have to do two characters.
We are only seeing if Diego Luna wants to do the roll, but we have not defined anything yet, I hope its yes, because from the beginning I was thinking of him,” he declared.
Only a few weeks ago the
International Festival of Contemporary Cinema of the Mexico City (FICCO)
had programmed 11 Cantinflas movies, and later announced that for
the question of the best rights it would not do the exhibition.
“There is no judgment in my opposition, nor do I have problems now.
I don’t know why the FICCO decided to decline the project. I have
all the roles in order, the testament that my dad left, I have all
the copyright records,” he affirmed.
He detailed that the certificates of the producers and distributors
affiliation, certificates of origin (which grants Government and
Cinematography) everything is addressed to the affiliation Mario
Moreno Reyes, “and I am the only heir and executor, there is no
turnaround.”

México, DF. Mario Moreno Ivanova aseguró que no tiene sentencia alguna en su contra y que los proyectos de trabajo continúan, uno de ellos es realizar una película en la que Diego Luna podría dar vida a Cantinflas.
"Estamos trabajando en dos ideas concretas, una de ellas es tipo documental y la otra es una película para llevar a la pantalla la vida tanto de mi padre Mario Moreno, como de su personaje célebre, y la idea es que Diego Luna haga este trabajo", indicó.
Todavía no hay fecha, ni siquiera tentativa, no hay argumento
definido, estamos acomodando todo porque será una película muy
difícil, quién se atreva tendrá que hacer dos personajes, manifestó.
"Apenas estamos viendo si Diego Luna quiere hacer el papel, pero no
hemos definido nada todavía, ojalá que sí, porque desde el principio
se está pensando en él", manifestó.
Hace tan sólo unas semanas el Festival Internacional de Cine
Contemporáneo de la Ciudad de México (FICCO) había programado 11
películas de Cantinflas, y luego se anunció que por cuestión de los
derechos mejor no se haría la exhibición.
"No hay una sentencia en mi contra, ni tengo problemas ahora. No sé
porqué los del FICCO decidieron declinar el proyecto. Tengo todos
los papeles en orden, el testamento que dejó mi papá, tengo todos
los registros de derecho de autor", afirmó.
Detalló que los certificados de la asociación de productores y distribuidores, certificados de origen (que los emite Gobernación y Cinematografía) todo está a nombre de la asociación Mario Moreno Reyes, "y yo soy el único heredero y albacea, no hay vuelta de hoja".
