Diego Talks about his Fatherhood l 10 June 2008

Click for videoFor the first time Diego Luna spoke about his fatherhood, expecting his first born child with Camila Sodi makes him happy.

When questioned on how he feels about being a father soon, he said, “Yes, I’m pleased. Life’s been good for me. I come from not working for a short while, so I come very peaceful (rested).”

Then he was asked how his partner, Camila Sodi, was doing, but he didn’t want to give details.

“I’m not going to tell them that. I never have, why would I start now? I think it’s necessary to keep distance between your private life and professional life,” he said.

Before the persistence, Diego Luna kept reflecting, “I made a decision to be an actor and therefore what I do is public, but I do not have to make that decision for anyone else in my family. Not only for my family, but for my friends and all the people that I want to protect from this and that’s why I don’t talk very much.”

He’s even thought of his family living together outside of Mexico.

“I hope that Mexico is a livable place, it would always give me great sadness to have to choose for my security and that of my family to leave here, but we’ll see how it goes,” he specified.

Nor did he want to reveal the sex of his baby.
