“Festen” ocupa toda mi cabeza: Luna

“Me falta mucho, me falta un buen cacho de la gira y después de eso una buena vacación y luego pues... ya veremos”, dijo sobre su regreso a los sets del séptimo arte.

En entrevista vía telefónica desde México, dijo hay estrenos pendientes en la pantalla grande, viene la cinta que hizo sobre Julio Cesar Chávez y “El Búfalo de la Noche”.

“Para trabajar sí, hasta el 2008, todavía tengo tiempo para pensar un rato, sobre todo unas vacaciones me urgen”, recalcó quien llega a Tijuana con la puesta en escena este próximo martes y miércoles al Cecut.

Y es de aquí, donde saldrá un proyecto ambicioso que tiene junto al escritor tijuanense Heriberto Yépez, quien para él y Gael García ha hecho un guión que se proyectará a través de Canana, su productora.

“Es al asecho un proyecto que estamos trabajando en la compañía, es un proyecto muy ambicioso, por eso mismo es que hay llevado tanto tiempo, nos acercamos porque conocemos su trabajo y nos pareció muy interesante.

“Además de trabajar con él, cómo que tiene muchas historias que contar, es un gran charlador además, entonces, tiene lo que todos los buenos guionistas tienen, es un buen cuentacuentos, en todos los sentidos”, puntualizó sobre la trama que narra la vida de Tijuana.

No es el artista de moda, sino del reconocimiento, por lo que se da la libertad de poder elegir con quién y que es lo mejor para su carrera.

“Es un lujo poder decidir dónde quieres estar y con quién quieres trabajar, todo lo que hecho antes me tiene en esta posición de privilegios, siento que como actor nunca puedes darle la espalda al teatro, es donde se hace y se forma, y sería un error no regresar”, indicó.

La pasión y el gusto, no tanto el dinero, porque no es altruismo, es lo que quizás ha marcado su camino, consideró, porque concentra sus energías dónde es, lo demás llega por añadidura.

El publico a su regreso al teatro, consideró, está listo para ver mejor teatro, cada se vuelve mas exigente, lo cual le da gusto, porque hay un público ansioso de ver buenas historias.

“La muestra que ha tenido ‘Festen’ ha demostrado en las taquillas que quiere ver un teatro inteligente, porque un teatro más inteligente no es sinónimo de aburrido, porque la obra te hace reír”, sostuvo.

Agregó que la puesta llega tal cual se oferta desde que sale a cartelera, es decir, con el mismo elenco, sin cambiar nada, porque eso también demerita que el auditorio se desilusione.

“Esta llena de humor negro, un humor muy ácido, a diferencia de la película la obra esta escrita para que haya grandes momentos de risa, y es una obra muy completa, porque te ríes, sufres, tiene un poquito de todo”.

“I miss a lot, I have yet a good bit of the tour and after that a good vacation and until then… we’ll see,” Diego said on his return to the set of the seventh art.

In an interview via telephone from Mexico, he said there are pending premieres on the big screen, there comes a film he did about Julio Cesar Chávez and “El Búfalo de la Noche”.

“To work yes, until 2008, I still have time to think a little bit, I especially need some vacation as soon as possible,” stressed the one who comes to Tijuana with the staging this next Tuesday and Wednesday at CECUT.

And it is here where an ambitious project that he’s had along with Tijuana writer Heriberto Yépez will go out, who he and Gael García have done a script that will be projected to turn by Canana, their production company.

“It is to snare a project that we working on at the company, it is a very ambitious project, that's why is that it has taken so much time. We bring ourselves closer because we know his work and it seemed very interesting to us.

“In addition to working with him, he has many stories to tell, he is a big talker also, so he has what all good scriptwriters have, he it is a good storyteller, in every respect,” he specified on the plot that narrates the life of Tijuana.

He [Diego] is not the artist of fashion, but of recognition, for what happens there is the freedom of being able to choose with who and that is the best thing for his career.

 “It's a luxury to be able to decide where you want to be and with who you want to work. Everything I’ve done earlier has me in this position of privileges. I feel that as an actor you can never turn away from theater.It is where you are shaped and formed, and it would be an error not to return."

Passion and pleasure, not so much the money, because it is not altruism. This is what perhaps has marked his way, he thought, because he concentrates his energies where he is, the rest comes on top of that.

On his return to theater, he considers, the public is ready to see better theater. It becomes more demanding, which is a pleasure for him, because there is a public eager see good stories.

“The proof that Festen has had has demonstrated in the box offices that one wants to see an intelligent theater, because a more intelligent theater is not synonymous with boring, because the play makes you laugh,” he maintained.

He added that the staging comes to offer you just as it is, since it goes out to the publicity board, that is to say, with the same cast, without changing anything, because that demerit also disappoints the audience.

“This flood of black humor, a very acid humor, the play is written so that there are big moments of laughter in contrast to the movie. It is a very complete play because you laugh, you suffer, it has a bit of everything.”
