México – The movie Rudo y Cursi, that stars Mexican actors Gael García and Diego Luna, is in the middle of filming on location in the state of Jalisco, reports their press agent Icunacury Acosta.
In an interview he explained that the shooting of the movie, where they deal with the environment that is lived inside professional football, will finish in the middle of August to begin the process of rerecording, dubbing, mixing and everything regarding post-production.
Gael García is “Toto”, better known as “Cursi” (“tacky” or “corny”), brother of “Beto”, who they all call “Rudo” (“rough”) Diego Luna’s character in the film, the debut from Carlos Cuarón, younger brother of Alfonso Cuarón.
In addition to this duo of actors who have come from the country, the cast is integrated by the Argentinian Guillermo Franchela, new stars Adriana Paz and Malillany Marín, in addition to actress Dolores Heredia.
Icunacury Acosta added that as soon as the filming of the movie comes to an end, Diego will start promoting his movie The Night Buffalo, while Gael will take free time to rest, relax and analyze a range of projects.
Both actors have their production company, Canana Films, and maintain contracts with distributor Focus Features, entrusted to announce all the productions that the company does. A few days ago, it circulated an invitation that improperly involves them.
It has to do with a Mexican production company that announced that Gael and Diego will be present, shortly, at the opening of their facilities, which was denied categorically by Icunacury Acosta.
“They were never invited,” he says. And equally, it is impossible for them to help. Furthermore, they are presently recording for long and exhausting days in open and closed locations of Jalisco. Icunacury Acosta preferred omitting the trade name of the company that circulated a bulletin of press with fictitious information.

México – La película Rudo y cursi, cuyos roles protagónicos están a cargo de los actores mexicanos Gael García y Diego Luna, se encuentra a la mitad de su filmación, en locaciones del Estado de Jalisco, informó su agente de prensa, Icunacury Acosta.
En entrevista, explicó que el rodaje del filme, donde se aborda el ambiente que se vive dentro del futbol profesional, terminará a mediados de agosto próximo, para entrar al proceso de regrabación, doblaje, mezcla y todo lo referente a su posproducción.
Gael García es "Toto" , mejor conocido como "Cursi" , hermano de "Beto" , a quien todos llaman "Rudo" , personaje que hace Diego Luna en el filme, ópera prima de Carlos Cuarón, hermano menor de Alfonso Cuarón.
Además de esa dupla de actores que han trascendido el país, el elenco está integrado por el argentino Guillermo Franchela, los nuevos valores Adriana Paz y Malillany Marín, además de la actriz Dolores Heredia.
Icunacury Acosta añadió que en cuanto el rodaje del filme llegue a su fin, Diego iniciará la promoción de su película Búfalo de la noche, en tanto que Gael se tomará un tiempo libre para descansar, relajarse y analizar un abanico de proyectos.
Ambos actores tienen su casa productora, Canana Films, y mantienen contrato con la distribuidora Focus Features, encargada de dar a conocer todas las producciones que haga la empresa; hace unos días, circuló una invitación que, indebidamente, los involucra.
Se trata de una empresa mexicana de productora y posproductora que anunció que Gael y Diego asistirán, en breve, a la inauguración de sus instalaciones, lo cual fue desmentido categóricamente por Icunacury Acosta.
"Nunca fueron invitados" , sentrenció. Y por lo mismo, es imposible que asistan, además de que actualmente graban durante largas y extenuantes jornadas en locaciones abiertas y cerradas de Jalisco. Icunacury Acosta prefirió omitir la razón social de la empresa que hizo circular un boletín de prensa con información apócrifa.
