They make noise for the film Rudo y Cursi l 6 September 2008
Gael & DiegoMexico City - Almost more than 100 days from their commercial premiere of Rudo y Cursi (roughly translated as Rough and Corny) and the film has begun its promotional stage with a couple of teaser posters that these days adorn the movie complexes. One of them is with Gael García Bernal as a principal character, and the other with Diego Luna. If they are put together, the two characters meet straight on and form the word "y" ("and") to make up the phrase Rudo y (and) Cursi, the title of the movie. Carlos Cuarón, the director of the movie that premieres [in Mexico] on December 19, indicates that the film is full of humor.

According to Carlos, it tells the story of two bothers, Toto (Gael) and Beto (Diego). "The first one wants to be a singer, the other a football [soccer] player. The promo trailer 'turn off their cell phones' is in theatres. This promo video is something close to the sense of humor of the movie. Perhaps people will see it as a comedy. It is filled with emotions, without losing any of the humor."

Will everyone that took part come to the premiere?
Carlos says, "Yes, we hope so. Obviously there are busy agendas: Gael filming in Europe; González Iñarritu will film in Autumn; Alfonso is with personal projects; Del Toro with the Hobbit, but yes, we hope so."
