Ciudades Oscuras (Dark Cities) is comprised of multiple intertwinded storylines - in Mexico City. Diego Luna plays Fede, a teen who's father (a crooked cop) tells him that he's a maricon (gay) when Fede questions him about a murder in the newspaper. Fede gets angry, runs off and meets up with a girl. They go to her house, but it doesn't take long for the girl to throw herself at Fede. Still upset and confused about the fight with his dad, Fede pushes her away. She asks him what's wrong. He tells her that his dad keeps calling him gay. She asks him if he likes girls - or women, rather. Fede says 'sure,' but pushes her away when she starts trying to take his pants off. She tells him that his dad is the one who is a maricon. In defense of his father, Fede calls the girl's mom a puta, which happens to be true, as her mother is a prostitute. This leads to an altercation where Fede forces himself on the girl, tearing off her panties and punching her in the gut when she resists and bits him on the shoulder. While this is happening a bum comes in and rips Fede off the girl. Fede runs away and the bum falls in an alley fire outside. Towards the end of Fede's particular storyline, he is run over one night by a car full of drunks while crossing a street. The driver is none other than Fede's won father.
