Abel,
the film directed by Diego Luna, won two prizes at
the prestigious Sebastián Film Festival in San
Sebastián, Spain. The first award, Horizontes, was
in the Latin American films category, and the second
one, the Euskatiel Youth award, was voted by film
students to the best film in Spanish.
The Mexian actor barely made it to the ceremony,
since he was in Mexico City at a reception in honor
of his late mother, Fiona Alexander. Upon learning
of the news, Luna took the first flight to Spain.
