Soldiers of Salamina

A novelist who has abandoned her career tracks a real story that happened in the last days of the Spanish Civil War. Writer and Falangist (fascist) Rafael Sánchez Mazas was shot next to fifty other prisoners, but managed to flee through the forest and hide under the rain. A soldier found him in his, but let him escape. The writer recomposes the pieces of this story. In her search, without knowing it, she not only hunts to find the truth, but to find herself. Diego Luna plays a small roll in this film as the novelist's university student, Gastón, a young man with Mexican and Spanish heritage.
