A Sweet Scent of Death
Early morning in the fields of Carranco, Ramón (Diego Luna) finds the dead body of  his secret teenage crush, Adela. After he covers her naked body with his shirt, the gossip in town is that Ramón´s girlfriend has been found murdered. Still in a state of shock, Ramón does not correct them in their wrong assumption that she was his girlfriend. He'd only met her a few times in his shop. Meanwhile, El Gitano (the gypsy) has left Carranco after a night of love with Gabriela, suddenly interrupted by a flash light of an unknown bearer. That night at the local bar, Justino the town sheriff, and other regular patrons discuss what should be done. La Amistad, pointing his flashlight at them, shouts "the gypsy murdered the girl". Marcelino, a bitter old man pushes Ramón to avenge his "girlfriend's" murder. Now Ramón will have to prove to the towns people that he is a man or leave the town in shame.
